McCain couldn't get behind MMA but he can drop Napalm on Vietnamese women and children till the sun is blocked out by the smoldering flesh of children. The real issue was they wanted regulations so the government could get a piece of the pie. Much like everything in ALL politics, left or right, its all about financial intrests in the disguise of virtue.
UFC should keep this up over FightPass. Hell, they could put an ad in the middle even an it would be worth it. Keep putting stuff like this put and the subs will go through the roof.
