Shortly before one o’clock on the morning of Wednesday 14th June, an inferno broke out in Grenfell Tower in West London. It went on to claim the lives of 72 people.

Honestly, this is gonna sound bad but those who could jump out the window should've, yeah they could've died but believe it or not the chances of that would've been slim.
The way the building was made was horrible in every sense, like it screamed hazard.

It's nearly like 2 years after the tradegy, I was up when it came on the news and there are still people who watched it on the news I 2019 talking about it. This is coming from a 12 year old, people.

As that fireman said. How did that happen. Someone knew that cladding was flammable and they signed the order approving it's use on that tower block. They didn't care. The attitude was well let's hope if there is a fire that no one is hurt but we have to save money so we are using that cladding.

I despise it when the news uses a music sound to manipulate and presume to instruct the viewer on "how to feel". I miss the days when the news were objective and didn't treat tragedies as an oportunity to creat cinematic style entertainent. Regrettable poor taste and true lack of respect and empathy.

i remember this :/ i woke up that morning and this was on the news showing it burning slowly. my nan was at the bottom of the building visiting family and i remember crying and refusing to go to school. just glad that she got home safe. sorry to all those who lost family and friends x

In the light of the fire at Notre Dame recently, are there masses of donations being given for the reconstruction of this building, Grenfell Tower? No: Y? Because Grenfell Tower is not a tourist attraction and is not lucrative enough for businesses to help or care about.
