NBA Twitter goes crazy reacting to Adebayo’s block on Tatum originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston
Jimmy Butler’s clutch shots in the fourth quarter and overtime led the Miami Heat to a Game 1 win over the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals, but it was Bam Adebayo’s monster block at the end of overtime that will go down as the signature play.
Celtics forward Jayson Tatum drove to the basket with his team trailing 116-114 and just a few seconds left on the clock in OT. Tatum got to the rim, but he was denied in emphatic fashion by Adebayo, who blocked the shot to help seal Miami’s 117-114 win.

Heat All-Star Bam Adebayo is the first player to block a potential game-tying or go-ahead dunk in the final minute of a playoff game since the advent of play-by-play in 1996-97. @ESPNStatsInfo

Bam Adebayo at pick 14 and Tyler Herro at 13.
Just a friendly reminder that you don’t have to bottom up out and rely on top 5 picks.
