UFC 241 Weigh-In Video Live Stream For Daniel Cormier Vs. Stipe Miocic 2 Fight Card
The UFC is in Anaheim, California this weekend for UFC 241, an event which features a heavyweight title fight rematch in the headlining spot.
In the main event, UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier faces the man he took the title from, Stipe Miocic. Cormier ended Micoic’s reign in July 2018 when he knocked out Miocic with strikes at the 4:33 mark of the first round. Before the loss, Miocic had set a UFC heavyweight record of three straight title defenses.
Cormier defended his title in November with a second-round submission win over Derrick Lewis. Miocic has not fought since his defeat. Before losing to Cormier, Miocic had won five straight fights. Four of those victories came by way of knockout. Cormier has never lost in heavyweight competition.
In the co-main event, Nate Diaz returns to the octagon for the first time in nearly three years to face ex-UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis in a welterweight scrap.
Diaz last fought in August 2016. He dropped a majority decision to Conor McGregor in that matchup. Pettis is coming off a knockout win over two-time UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson.
A third high-stakes bout also takes place on the pay-per-view portion of UFC 241. In that contest, highly ranked middleweight contenders Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa meet in what could be a title eliminator.
UFC 241 takes place at Honda Center on Saturday, August 17. The pay-per-view event streams on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass.
Before the fighters step into the octagon on Saturday, they will hit the scales. The ceremonial weigh-ins take place today. The first fighter is set to hit the scale at 5 p.m. ET.
